Cocoa continues to delight us. She is an affectionate, social cat. She has recently discovered Lacey – our beta fish. As long as he doesn’t move, I think he’ll be okay.

You did a wonderful job of socializing this kitten.

Anna had her annual yesterday and she is a very healthy kitty! She gained 2 oz. this year and now weighs 8.9 lbs. Her teeth are in good condition and she had a cleaning last year. Hard to believe that I've had her 6 years now, and in June she will be nine years old.

She races through the house like a kitten. She's a real lap cat. Loves to be in our lap. She's very cute, friendly and affectionate, and likes whoever comes here. For the first couple of years, she wouldn't let anyone but us touch her, but now she goes to everyone. She does very well riding and never complains.

This weekend, we are going south of Naples, FL to Chokoloskee and stay in the 5th wheel two nights with another couple who have a travel trailer. She does very well with this and enjoys it. We will leave here June 1st for Maine, stay a month, and then we are planning on heading west to tour the northern states and go to Yellowstone Park. She toured with us last summer for three weeks, to Canada through PEI, Cape Breton and Nova Scotia!

She knows the routine: gets right in her carrier when we stop and we take her back to the RV with us while we make a lunch etc. or get ready for the night. The back seat of the truck folds down and she has a nice area back there. Her litter box on one side (which she has never used in the daytime), and her food and water on the other side. Her carrier is in the middle, and we tie the door open and she goes in and out as she wants. When we pull in for gas, if she's laying out, she gets right into her carrier by herself. She's a very smart cat and no problem at all to have on a trip. She seems to enjoy the ride and the music.

Just thought we would let you know how she's doing. She loves it here in Florida. Likes to be in the screen room watching and listening the birds outside.

Let us know how you and Gary are doing.

Best,
Norma, Bill and Anna

Hi Laura,

I stumbled upon your website while I was browsing online. I couldn't help but email you after I saw so many cute pics.

My home is still shared by the now ALMOST 11 YEAR OLD Sydney. She is a champagne, and our whole family just adores her. She has brought so much joy to our home and I would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to have her.

Sydney
We still look at her and talk about how cute she is like we did on day one. She is quite the little princess, soooo lovable, and loves to be around people.

Anyway, congratulations on your years of success and thank you again.

Sincerely,
Aubrey M

Laura,

It is just amazing how Gertie has already figured it all out: she has eaten, used her litter box for all necessities, drank some water, loves to play (we played for about 1.5 hours when she got home, she is so alert and energetic). Gertie loves to be held, snuggled, and loved - and Keith and I do all.

Gertie
Mostly, she is purring when she is held or near us. I love it. We slept with her, though none of us got much sleep. We figured it was important for bonding and we can "catnap" throughout the day. I planned this day so nothing besides her and home are on my agenda.

I have read all the information you have sent, and I will follow it to the letter. Her appointment with my vet, whom I love, is on Tuesday afternoon.

I am already dreading the school day on Monday, and being away from her. But one of my best friends lives 25 steps away, and she is a major animal lover - and always took care of our other cat when we were gone.

So, our little Gertie has had quite a 24 hour experience. She likes to sleep next to us, though we will allow that for napping purposes mostly. For now, we simply want her to be happy, and comfortable, and adjust with ease. She already responds when she hears our voices. Smart little girl.

You have definitely shared a wonderful, wonderful little one with us. She's a real keeper! I will take photos along the way, and share them with you.

Dear Laura,

What a precious, precious little girl. We just love her, laugh at her funny ways, and marvel at her determined little personality. She is a bright spot in each day. What a wonderful decision to get a little Tonkinese! She is growing and super, super healthy.

Just wanted to send you a recent photo.

Dear Laura,

I am just writing to include a picture of Maggie, to show you how she's grown. My husband and I really love her antics. She is a very high energy cat. Although she does prefer to sit by herself, she is always ready to play and to be petted. In fact, she does sleep with us at night time. She burrows underneath the covers next to me, and I never have any room in the bed! Everyone who meets Maggie thinks she is the cutest cat they've ever seen, and we really have to agree.

Hope you enjoy the picture.

Dear Laura,

Hello, where did your website go? I wasn’t able to find it.

I just wanted you to know that Onslow has grown into a beautiful, clean, well-behaved and very affectionate kitty. My fears of him being “aloof” were unfounded. He loves to be cuddled and carried around the house. He likes his face stroked, especially around his whiskers. He sleeps on the end of my bed, or my daughter’s, every night, and is always close by wherever we are.

I have a small basket in the TV room, to keep the remote controls in. Even though I have a larger basket on the hearth for him, he insists on stuffing himself in this little basket, which makes him look like a loaf of bread.

Just wanted to say hello, and wanted to find your website, in case I would want to get another kitty from you.

Love,
Georgia and Onslow

Hi Laura,

I just wanted to let you know how great Rudy (the only platinum male from your Jan 6th litter) is doing. He is so funny. He makes me laugh at something new every day.

He and my other cat, Trouble, get along great. They play day and night. They sound like a herd of elephants. Also, Trouble is definitely a father figure. He loves to clean him, and when Rudy calls for him when he doesn't know where he is, Trouble will call back and go find him.

He isn't a fan of my dog Penny though. He is so jealous it is funny. If he's on my lap, and Penny even looks like she is thinking about coming over and getting some attention, Rudy get's in his "come near here and you're going to get it" stance. He get's his paw up and ready to fly.

Also, he doesn't have a normal meow. If you didn't know Rudy, and you were at my house and heard it, you would be looking around for a creaking door to have been opened. He sounds like he needs to be oiled. When you are sitting down, he loves to get behind you, on your shoulders and clean you. It is so cute. I could go on and on.

I don't own a digital camera, but whenever I can get ahold of one, I'll send you a picture for your website.

Have a great day and thank you for raising such a wonderful kitty!

Rebekah

Hi Laura,

My little "helper" and I were doing e-mails and I thought about you. I just wanted to give you a little update about the most spoiled, most loved and the plain old happiest little guy in the U.P.

Brownie and Mocha have struck up a nice little relationship. Brownie loves to groom her,and she really loves it. They sleep together and they play together when Mocha feels up to it.

Pebbles dosen't like to let anyone think she is anything but the top cat, but I have caught them playing together (isn't play the great equalizer?) and Pebbles has allowed Brownie to groom her. It won't be long till she lets her guard down.

I have some really cute pictures on my camera I will send you when they are developed. Take care, we'll keep in touch!

Love to All,
Karen, Mocha, Pebbles and Brownie

THE CONTINUING ADVENTURES OF BROWNIE

Hi Laura!

Happy Holidays to you and your family! Just thought I'd send you some pictures of Brownie. Had him to Dr. Anderson's in August, and she pronounced him healthy, happy and spoiled! He is doing quite well and he is very, very, attached to me. He just loves to lick my nose (our "Kissy-Kissy" ritual) and, at night, he likes to sleep on my head. And he loves his girls! He mostly plays with Pebbles - now that he leaves her tail alone - and he cuddles up with Mocha.

Last week, Mocha took a turn for the worse, and sure enough, her kidneys gave out, so I had her put down. The three of us are grieving right now, and Brownie and Pebbles have been quiet and reserved. Hopefully they will get over this soon. Brownie and Mocha had grown so close.

Again, Happy Holidays and THANK YOU for this wonderful little guy. He's more precious than gold!

Take Care,
Karen, Pebbles and Brownie

Hello Laura!

Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you the babies are doing great. I decided to keep the name Sylvester for the little boy (it just fit somehow) and have named the girl Zelda.

As I told you on the phone, the boy is fearless and adjusted to his new surroundings in a split second!

Sylvester and Zelda
He was blinking one of his eyes a lot, and squinting it when he first got home, and it was a little watery, but that has gotten a lot better. I suppose it got poked along the line somewhere. The fact that he is the slightest bit crosseyed sometimes is just adorable (and reminds me of my parents' old Siamese cats).

The little girl took a little longer, and is still a little jumpy, but is doing much better. They love the toys you sent with them and love chasing each other around the apartment (and taking naps with me).

They are both very sweet kitties and have brought me so much joy in just the few days I have had them so far. My roommate has fallen in love with them too! Attached is our first family picture (believe me, it was hard to snap).

Thank you again for doing such a wonderful job with the babies and I will be sure to send you pictures as they get older!

Jennifer

I hope you don't get sick of pictures of the babies!

They are getting so big already. I have had them for two months, and don't think there are two more loved kittens out there :)

Hope all is well.

Jennifer

Hi Laura!

Just thought you might want to see how beautifully the babies are growing. They are doing great and steal the hearts of everyone they meet. They are a bit of a handful, but are just as sweet as they are mischevious!

Your new litters are adorable. I hope all is well there. Can't thank you enough for bringing the kids to me!

Best,
Jennifer
