Hi,
Tinker Bell is quite the character and very affectionate. She is exactly what we had
hoped she would be. She has finally been accepted by Punkin (the domestic), and now
all three cats play together. She loves perching on my shoulder while I do paperwork
at my computer. One of her favorite things is to dance on the calculator to get it to
make sounds. She is gaining weight (as she should be) and her presence seems to have
perked Punkin into eating better, and she has put on weight. Remember, she is our
sick kitty, so that was encouraging. Nothing like a little competition. How long this
will last, who knows?
I will try and get some pictures of her with our collie, Palladium. The problem is,
she still does not feel totally safe when they are all walking around the house. She
will curl up with Palladium on the bed, but I usually am in there with them. Last
night, after we took a shower (we have a two person walk-in shower), she decided to
explore the wet stall. I wished I had had a camera because both the dog and the cat
where in the shower together. The best shot would have been when they were both
looking in together. Tinker Bell, being a curious kitten, was standing with her feet
on the edge of the step looking in, and Palladium, wondering what was she was looking
at, this little kitten standing by her front legs, both staring in to the shower.
Looked like a couple of devilish kids. But who carries a camera with them when they
take a shower? Oh well. Maybe I will luck out next time.

Just wanted to let you know that Stuart is doing very well in his new home. I'm
attaching a picture of him with our eight year old male Tonkinese, Teddy.
Teddy immediately adopted him and they are inseparable. He's an adorable, energetic
kitten, with a very confident attitude and a fearless approach to life. Teddy keeps
him out of too much trouble though, intervening when he gets into something he
shouldn't. He's keeping Teddy pretty busy, probably more exercise than Teddy's had
in a long time, but he seems to just love Stuart and tries to keep up with him.
Just thought you might want an update on him.

Dear Laura:
As I write, Harley is in his evening routine... a few kisses and then falling asleep
on my shoulder or lap. Harley really has so much energy and personality, when I put
his feather teaser up... he looks up at it and howls. He is eating well, plays alot,
and sleeps with us at night. Our older Tonk is starting to let Harley get close to
her. We are very happy with Harley!
Thanks,

Laura:
Just wanted to let you know that Max (Maximus Thunder) is doing great. My male cat,
Simon, immediately took the "mother role" with Max. He plays with him, keeps him
clean and sleeps with him. When Simon wants to go out into the garage for some time
alone, Max cries for him. I have never seen anything like it! Simon will not let my
female cat, Gracie, near Max. |

I was kind of nervous about buying a kitten over the internet, but I have no regrets.
Max is worth every penny I paid for him. He is a beautiful kitten and has the best
personality. He had no problem adjusting to his new home. I will send you another
picture when he gets older. Thanks so much!

Hi Laura:
Skye (formerly Katie) is such a joy! I got her from the litter born on 6/4/05. She
flew into the Orange County, California airport. She is doing great.
A few of her favorite things are: jumping on the other unsuspecting cats at every
available opportunity, chewing on anything (including my belt loops on my pants),
playing with (and killing) grasshoppers that dare to enter her domain, giving kisses
when you least expect it, helping me get ready for work in the morning, hiding out in
my purse, and sleeping either under the covers or in the laundry hamper. What a life!
I hope you enjoy the picture.

Dear Laura and Gary:
Attached are pictures of our little Bea her first official week in our home. She is
an absolute doll! We couldn't be happier with her! We love her personality and her
sense of humor. What a sweet girl. Everything and more than you suggested she'd be.
She is sleeping on my DVD drive right now, about 5" away from me! She's grown quite
nicely and will have her "little surgery" (spaying) as soon as she reaches 4 pounds.
Last week, Tuesday she was at 3.4 pounds. She is a love!
We are absolutely thrilled with her! Thank you so much! She is a super addition to
our family!

PS Still haven't decided on the "official" name for the papers, but will share when I
have formally decided.

Morning, Laura,
Sure, you can add our precious girl's photo to your site! Not bad for a picture
taken with a cell phone.
Her full name, though I am sure you remember it, is: Innocentia's Beatrix Margaret
(had to keep the Baby Bea thing running strong!). |

Not bad for such a tiny baby that none of us was sure would survive, don't you think?
She's at 9 pounds and the Vet says she's in super health. She talks to her toys and
her mommy, and is an absolute delight!
She also has a voracious purr to match any Olympic champion! And when she plays,
boy is she FAST! Didn't think that cobby body with short legs would make her stealth,
but boy is she.
We think she's gorgeous! Thanks for all of the hard work bringing her along! It was
so worth it!

Hi Laura:
I've been meaning to e-mail you with an update about my kittens for a while now,
but time just passes so quickly.
I drove out to Michigan from Buffalo, NY last April to pick out a tonkinese kitten.
I came to get one, but ended up leaving with two. |

I kept the name George for my platinum pointe (originally, George of the Jungle) and
named the platinum mink, Jake. They are always so entertaining and such a riot to
have around. I am greeted faithfully everyday at the door when I return from work,
and if I don't immediately give enough attention upon walking in, they let me know
by following me around and "talking" to me.
Everyone who has met them absolutely adores them, even the ones who claim not to be
"cat people." Their acrobats are hysterical. Every aspect of their personality really
holds true to everything I have read about the breed. Jake absolutely loves his
Beanie baby toys. He carries them around the house, sleeps with them and even puts
them in his food dish when he eats. He has mastered the game of fetch.
George loves to play with anything that makes noise, and loves playing in the bathtub
whenever the water is on. He will also do whatever it takes to be up on my shoulder.
They are both so lovable and desperate to be with me, even though they have each other.
I couldn't have made a better choice to bring home two, so I don't have to feel as
guilty leaving them alone when I am working.
I took them to the pet store when they were having a photo session. I've attached the
picture. There were a lot of distractions, and it was their first trip out of the
house, so they aren't as attentive looking as they usually are, but I think they
still look cute. I'll work on getting some better "action" shots.
I hope all is going well with you. Have a great holiday season!

Laura:
Cocoa is a WONDERFUL kitten! She is adapting very nicely. We are gradually giving
her the run of the apartment.
She skitters up and down the hallway at night. She is
eating and using the litter box regularly, chasing her tail, rolling over to play,
rubbing up against my husband, talking to us, purring and doesn’t seem to mind being
carted around by my daughters. She is a sweet girl and we’re very happy with her
disposition.
The dog isn’t thrilled – yet, but I don’t anticipate any problems. We’re taking it
slow and easy. Thank you!

Laura:
Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how Casper is. He is just a wonderful
baby. He is so sweet and loving and he is fitting nicely into our family. All of my
human family memebers just love him and he is becoming a great pal of my bengal. He
is getting more spoiled every day.
Thank you for everything.

Hi Laura,
Here is a picture of our baby. We named him Rochester and also call him Rocky.
He is a great cat - and the best decision we ever made. He loves to play catch,
and will bring back his beanie baby each time.
He's now six months old and he's very affectionate. He loves to chase Amadeus
(our other cat we bought from you) around the house. Both cats are getting along
pretty good.
Thanks for all the help in completing our family with this precious bundle of
happiness.
Thanks,

Hi Laura,
It has been almost a year since our babies were born (March 20, 2005). I wanted to
send you a picture to show you how wonderful they are. We are so happy with them and
they helped spark some life in our old dog "Sadie".
They arrived in San Francisco happy and healthy last June. The little girl, Phoebe,
is in front and the big boy, Gatsby, is right behind her. |
|
|
They are so different in
size. He is over 10lbs and she is about 6-7lbs. He loves to sit on my shoulder. She
runs the show, but let's him think he does. Typical brother and sister act. It was
great working with you, everything went so smoothly.
Hope all is well with you and family. Thanks again.
